Ministry of trade’s mission
1. The ministry gives the priority and concern to provide the catering card and it is providing the people’s needs in the current circumstances. The ministry is aspiring to enhance the supplied materials and depend on the original originator, adding new materials to the card, monitoring and following the agents and carriers in order to guarantee not replacing the supplied materials.
2. The ministry is trying to raise the economical development through developing the private sector’s activities, and this will create free and qualified economy depend mainly on the private activity. It is also creating working chances for the work hands and principles for the foreign investment law and activated it to serve the economical development.
The strategy of the ministry of trade
The ministry of trade is listing in its futuristic plans the enlarging of the outside economical relationships in order to connect Iraq with the outside world. This will be done through the focusing on making the dual agreements and the combined committees to cooperate in the investment field and trading and industry. In the current time, the ministry is aspiring to prepare the necessary preparations in order to make Iraq get the membership in the world trade organization to open new horizons and to practice its role in the trading movement.
